John Mayer Goes Gay... Again

JOHN MAYER X390 (GETTY) | ADVOCATE.COM

Singer John Mayer was spotted making out with another guy on Saturday at Toucan’s Tiki Lounge, a Palm Springs gay club, reports Radar Online.

While no pictures have been released of the alleged kiss, Radar does have video of Mayer swigging a drink and singing and dancing to the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.”

A witness told the website that a man approached Mayer and kissed him amid cheers from the crowd.

This is not the first time Mayer has kissed a man while out and about. The musician said he made out with blogger Mario “Perez Hilton” Lavandeira on New Year’s Eve 2007.

“You’re damn right I made out with [Lavandeira],” said Mayer, according ExtraTV. “I absolutely made out with him in a club."

Perez Hilton?? That's gross. He MUST be straight if he can't distinguish Perez Hilton from an attractive male.

Why is this news? THis is as bad as reporting somebody falling down the stairs at a sex cub, not news.

He also said he was going to buttfuck the presumably male editor of this news outlet: http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2009/10/john_mayer_threatens_to_sodomi.html. That Perez Hilton claim is a joke. If he really fuck Perez, she'd be screaming about it non-stop on her website.

I completely agree with Kyle. I'm an openly gay man and I've made out with women, after I came out, but that doesn't make me straight or even bisexual. Kissing is just kissing, it's not like he was blowing a guy on the dancefloor.

It's so ignorant that this is interpreted as "gay news." Making out with someone of your gender doesn't make you gay. There also seems to be a misogynistic angle to this mentality...if a girl kisses a girl, that's fine, they're straight, but if a guy kisses a guy, we take that to mean he is gay. Grow up. To be clear, I am gay and out, in case anyone thinks this is from a closeted, fake straight guy.
