Jamal Parris, the oldest of four men to file sexual misconduct lawsuits against Bishop Eddie Long, became the first to speak with media.

Fox 5 in Atlanta went to Colorado to find Parris on Sunday just hours after Long, the pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, vowed to fight the claims against him in a highly anticipated sermon.

Parris, who joined the church when he was 14, told a story of being let down but still loving Long, whom he viewed as a father figure. That adulation, according to the accuser, made it impossible for the young men to tell the bishop to stop, despite the dawning realization that their adopted savior was actually a predator.

"His presence alone is seduction to a young man without a father," said Parris. "You look at him, he's everything you want to be. He's everything you see and you dream to be."
