Michigan assistant attorney general Andrew Shirvell is due in court early Monday afternoon for a hearing over a personal protection order sought against him by University of Michigan study body president Chris Armstrong.
Armstrong is seeking the order because Shirvell has stalked and harassed him, including with posts on a website called Chris Armstrong Watch, where he claims the student promotes a "satanic" lifestyle.
According to WXYZ-TV, the hearing will take place in a Washtenaw County courtroom at 1:30 p.m.
Shirvell is on voluntary leave from his job in the attorney general's office.
