Where does Cindy McCain stand on repeal of "don't ask, don't tell"?
After starring in a new No H8 video condemning the policy, the wife of Republican senator John McCain tweeted Friday: "I fully support the NOH8 campaign and all it stands for and am proud to be a part of it. But I stand by my husband's stance on DADT."
John McCain has been a fierce opponent of repealing the 1993 law barring openly gay service members and has vowed to filibuster the National Defense Authorization Act, of which DADT repeal is remains a component -- at least for now.
"Our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future," Cindy McCain said in the No H8 video. "They can't serve our country openly."
