Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tweeted Tuesday that the House will vote today on Rep. Patrick Murphy's stand-alone bill to repeal "don't ask , don't tell."
The tweet reads, "The House will vote on Rep. Patrick Murphy's standalone #DADT repeal bill tomorrow-Senate action on #DADT is long overdue."
Murphy introduced the bill early Tuesday afternoon. The Murphy bill is identical to the Senate repeal bill introduced Friday by Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine).
