(Will in Tn). I think you are just like your partner because you must not follow what happened in the past. Reagan was an ACTOR. A bad one at that who mainly worked in B movies, like Bozo. His academy award winning role was as president. He hated gays. He also took the Social Security of all Government workers and cut it by twothirds. I retired in 1990 and after working both in private industry and the government I get $165 a month social security. I am now 72 and that 40 quarters I earned would help me meet my needs now. Reagan's theft of my social security promised to end the problem of social secuity for good. Well as you know it didn't. Maybe you are too young to remember what Herbert Hoover did to this country. Franklin Delano Roosevellt pulled us out of the mire. Please get real and know that McCain and Palin (with her $4,000 frames for her glasses) are not about to pull us out of this mess.

I hope this is okay to post on here, but am I the only one really scared of McCain/COULTER...er Palin? She really is so extreme and wants to teach intelligent design in schools and to "pray the gay away." I think we'll have a theocracy based on her fundamentalist credentials (and I hear McCain was pressured to picking her--scary that they can do that now, I can only imagine what happens with a McCain/Palin administration)...

In the last couple of weeks, I've watched every major TV network and shows like "Hardball with Chris Matthews," "Countdown with Keith Olberman," "Larry King Live" and "Election Center," and they have all mentioned former Georgia Senator Nunn as a potential Democratic VP. Only tonight, on "Hardball.." was the gay vote mentioned, and then only in passing as a minor concern. Where is the gay media and leaders on this issue? I haven't heard a word from them. Sr. Nunn consistently opposed gay rights in the past, and he was not considered for VP before because of his anti-gay positions. Am I the only one that remembers that? Why is the main media pushing this guy again, and why don't they recall his previous rejection? Gay leaders need to kill this idea ASAP. Not to mention that I don't understand why Nunn would be considered at all as he represents the politics of the past and is the same age as McCain.

Will, (Kingsport, TN).......are you on drugs?? Reagan was one of the most homophobic presidents we've ever had. He wouldn't even mention the work "Gay" or "AIDS". Or, because you live in Bible-Land (TN) are you full of "I'm a sinner" mentality and I don't deserve better?" Gay's like you put into power "The Bush Machine"...the "He's someone I'd like to have a beer with" redneck baloney that got us this loser. I don't know about you but I want the President of the United States to be MUCH more superior to my own intellect, not someone who's down at the bar with the factory workers downing beers. At least your vote didn't dilute anyone's vote from a swing state since "red" as it gets. Do yourself a favor this election...stay home, have your cigarette and beer and watch it on TV...........

Does anyone know anything about Obama and bisexuality? I know about the Sinclair story, but he doesn't have the credibility with the press to get his story out. Use your Gaydar, your friends, any means possible to learn about this homophobic/downlow person! Any news from the Chicago area would be very useful. Thanks.

Gay Republicans like Will made the 2004 election close enough to steal, just like the 2000 election, despite all the damage Bush had done to America in his first four years, and despite Carl Rove's strategy of using anti-gay-marriage amendments in 11 states to drum up the hate-gays vote. Despite the rabid homophobia of the Republican party, 23 percent of gays voted for Bush in 2004 and we know it was white males and we know it was for the bottom line reason of all Republicans: greed.

I am a republican who has not fallen for the pandering of the democrats to grab the gay vote. Bill Clinton had 8 years to advance the gay community and I don't think he done any better than Bush. I face alot of scrutiny for the way I vote. My partner and I have been together for 2 years and he is a very stubborn democrat. He knows nothing about the issues and refuses to watch any political shows on tv. He votes by party and party only. I have been a republican for a long time since I basically had to starve under the Carter years. I have seen democrats do nothing but raise taxes, and wreck things over the past 30 years. Ronald Reagan was the best president this country ever had. Geaorge Bush isn't perfect, but who is? Yeas, gas prices are high. But blame Bush? Unemployment is lower now than it was under Clinton during his re-election in 96. GO MCCAIN!!!!!
