to address issues in the black LGBT community. Areas of
exploration include HIV/AIDS awareness, homophobia in
the church, and the political climate during this
current presidential election.
In addition, the
Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute will host the first
People of Color Candidate & Campaign Training program
during the convention.
The conference
takes place at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in
