Ricky Martin Open to Gay Relationship

Singer Ricky Martin tentatively approaches the question of his sexual orientation by acknowledging his openness to a gay relationship in the new issue of TV Aqui magazine, reports PerezHilton.com.

Singer Ricky Martin tentatively approaches the question of his sexual orientation by acknowledging his openness to a gay relationship in the new issue of TV Aqui magazine, reports PerezHilton.com .

Says Hilton: "In the latest issue of TV Aqui magazine, Ricky Martin takes a hesitant step out of the closet, looks around, steps back in, but leaves the door slightly ajar."

TV Aqui magazine describes the exchange on its Twitter page :

"Ricky Martin talked to our editor Saudy Rivera and accepted his heart could belong to male or a female...more in our next issue."

Speculation that he is gay has long followed the Grammy Award-winning Martin, 37. The Puerto Rican native has repeatedly denied the rumors in the past. Last summer, he announced that he was the father of twin boys via a surrogate mother.

Gene Simmons of Kiss says Adam Lambert put his career in jeopardy by announcing he was gay. In a recent interview with AOL Television Simmons said Lambert's decision to come out has effectively stopped the handsome 20-something's career in its tracks. "He's enormously talented, best talent 'American Idol' has had, but I think he killed his career because now conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference," Simmons said. Simmons believes some people won't be able to get past Lambert's revelation about his sexual preference. "He's done. You're forcing people to deal with issues they may not be interested in. Life is unfair, and the masses don't all live in L.A. " Simmons added that Lambert should stick to singing. "My advice is still the same, shut the f--- up, just sing and let people say whatever they want," he said. "But I do wish him the best because he's got all the talent in the world."

I wish jealous people would stop pretending they're me. I came out to my family at 19 and they were and are still very accepting of me. My parents love my partner like he's another son. As far as intercourse goes, yes it is true, only men and women are capable of doing that. Some people need to go back to biology class. If a man pretends his anus is a vagina then he is feminine; he's playing the female role. There's nothing hotter than two masculine men who are equals. A lot of people in the gay community don't understand this because they're stereotypes.

Outing is very unfair. I was in the closet for many years. I am manly and totally opposed to communistic gay rights. Only men and women should have intercourse so my partner and I (also manly) abstain from shameful sex. We will only win acceptance if feminine types like Ricky Martin stay in the closet so leave him alone. go slow and don't be radical and we will win acceptance.

Ricky Martin campaigned for George W Bush. We do not want losers like him on our side. He's not a good role model - we already have too many self-hating, politically ignorant, head in the sand gays. Let him stay in the closet and out of our way.

I have lusted Rick's cock and body since I saw him naked in pics. Now, said that.. it is a shame that gays need others coming out to validate their own life style. We, gays, basically force celebrities to be cool about accepting homosexuality. If Rick Martin had said he was not gay and do not approve it, we would punish him campaigning against him as an artist. Let Rick live his life and be who he is. All corporations and actors and institutions who claim to accept gays are really faking tolerance. It is all money. We give our patronage to those who say they accept us in their "normal world". This is all fake tolerance (repeat: for money alone). Let Rick be who they are as I want to be who I am in peace.
