The first Southern Decadence festival held after marriage equality came to Louisiana (shove it, Bobby Jindal!) was even more jubilant than earlier incarnations. Though the South's biggest gay party is not really synonymous with commitment and fidelity, at least one same-sex couple wed during the weekend-long bacchanal. Of course, there were still events like the "Hot Ass" contest for those single and ready to mingle. Check out the sultry scene at the 44th Decadence with the following photos, courtesy of Egoiste at Flickr.
