Wonderfalls cocreator Bryan Fuller sells pilot to NBC

Variety reports that out Wonderfalls cocreator Bryan Fuller has received a pilot commitment from NBC for a script called The Assistants. The comedy would focus on a group of assistants who work in the same building in different industries for an Upstairs, Downstairs-esque look at assistants and their bosses. Fuller will executive-produce with openly gay filmmaker Adam Shankman (Bringing Down the House) and Jennifer Gibgot. The DVD collection of the critically acclaimed Wonderfalls will be released in January.
