Pop triple-threat Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande team up for one of the best anthems so far this year. The new song is the first single from Jessie J's latest album due out this fall, and will also appear on Grande's sophomore album, My Everything, available August 25. High-energy and showcasing each diva's own vocal chops, "Bang Bang" will be playing on repeat for the remaining weeks of summer. -- Scott Ragan

They say you should never meet your idols, but what happens when that idol is dancing almost naked right next to you at a bar? In the film Getting Go, college student Doc (Tanner Cohen) thinks he is living a dream-come-true when he meets his longtime obsession, a New York go-go dancer (Matthew Camp) that he's admired from afar. But things get complicated after he begins shooting a documentary about the dancer, and the pair become entangled in more than Doc bargained for. Charleston_pridex633_08. EVENT: Charleston Pride
Despite news that South Carolina's attorney general will keep defending the state's discriminatory ban on same-sex marriage after a federal court struck down a similar ban in Virginia, LGBT South Carolinians will take to the streets of downtown Charleston this weekend to show their Pride. The fifth annual Charleston Pride Festival Parade steps off at 9 a.m. Saturday from Wragg Mall at the intersection of Meeting and Ann streets, then winds its way to a conclusion at Broad St. and Lockwood Blvd. Saturday's parade and Pride Rally (at Brittlebank Park) serve as the bookend to a week of proud celebrations that included film screenings, a beach party, and, on Saturday night, the Official Charleston Pride After Party, starting at 9 p.m. at Mad River. Aroundtheblockx633_07. FILM: Around the Block
Directed by Sarah Spillane, Around the Block stars Christina Ricci as Dino Chalmers, a teacher who finds she won't be teaching just Shakespeare in Sydney's impoverished Redfern district. Many of her students are Aboriginal, and one in particular, Liam (Hunter Page-Lochard) has a talent for acting that Chalmers strives to foster. But Liam, whose father is in jail and whose brother is seeking vengeance for a dead uncle, has demons of his own to overcome. Around the Block premieres August 1 at the Arena Cinema in Hollywood, and LGBT audiences may also delight in the romantic interest of Ricci's character, played by model Ruby Rose. -- Daniel Reynolds

The popular rock music spectacular is returning to Palm Springs at the Hard Rock Hotel this weekend. This Friday marks its opening night celebration -- a truly epic show with hits from the '80s and '90s like "Livin on a Prayer," "Open Arms," and "Alone." The interactive concert boasts a five-piece band, lighting effects, and 12 performers rocking the stage with music by The Eagles, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Aerosmith, and more. After showcasing his survival skills in Man vs. Wild, Bear Grylls will take other celebrities on wild adventures through treacherous terrain in the new series Running Wild with Bear Grylls. The show debuted last week to a sea of gay gasps as the hunky host was joined by an equally sexy -- and shirtless -- Zac Efron. If you missed this double-dose of abs and amazing adventure, you can still catch it online before the second episode, this time with Zoolander star Ben Stiller, airs August 4 on NBC.
