Pop star and musical theater songwriter Joey Contreras this week premieres a video for his upbeat new single, "Love Wildly," and the clip features a bevy of Contreras's Broadway pals.
The bouncy song asks the musical question, "What's the point of living if you're too afraid of letting youself go?" The video follows two handsome guys, actor C.J. Pawlikowski and model Pat Bedard, living their separate lives until fate has them literally bump into one another. Romance, as you might guess, ensues.
The tune is off Contreras's 2014 album Young Kind of Love and features guest vocals by Godspell star Eric Michael Krop. However, the video's stars lip-synch the tune.
Dozens of young actors and dancers pepper the clip, which feels like a day-in-the-life montage from a sexier Fame.
Contreras, hailed as one of Playbill's "Contemporary Musical Theater Songwriters You Should Know," eventually pops up on keyboards.
