Billed as "a love letter to gay men living in the city," the 2005 musical revue Songs From an Unmade Bed is finally making its Chicago premiere.

Lyricist Mark Campbell and 18 different composers originally conceived Songs From an Unmade Bed as a one-man show exploring romantic and sexual gay experiences, but the LGBT nonprofit Pride Films & Plays has reshaped the revue into a conversation between two on-again, off-again lovers played by Kevin Webb and Jordan Phelps.

Directed by Derek Van Barham, Songs From an Unmade Bed opened Saturday and runs through April 27 at Chicago's Apollo Theater Studio.
