Come on, Marvel and Disney, don't make us beg.
Twitter may have thought #givecaptainamericaaboyfriend and #giveelsaagirlfriend were fun distractions, but we took it very seriously -- we want to see these movie icons on our team! For starters, GLAAD called out Disney in its annual Studio Accountability Index for having exactly zero LGBT characters in its movies. Apparently, though, we're not the only ones so vested in the love lives of fictional characters. Here's our favorite social media longing:
