Some worry that Brexit is a sign of rising global anti-immigration sentiments, but thankfully the United States is a nation of immigrants, Samantha Bee points out.
U.K. voters decided to remove their country from the European Union last week, leading Full Frontal host Samantha Bee to observe, "Even a brain-damaged baboon couldn't miss the parallels between the U.S. and Britain."
Some worry that the xenophobia that influenced the "Brexit" vote is a precursor to what may befall the United States under a Trump presidency.
"It's not enough for Trump to lose -- it has to be a fucking landslide," Bee said. But she has faith in the American people, calling Brexit-style anti-immigration sentiments "a European import."
