Instead of dwelling on their past unsuccessful adoption attempts, a gay Minneapolis couple took to YouTube to create a heartwarming video tribute to their future child, aptly called "Dear Future Baby."

The video and song, which is a parody of "All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor's newest single, "Dear Future Husband," was written by Joe Morales and Joey Famoso, after their latest attempt at expanding their family through adoption failed last fall, reports Today's Parents blog.

"We are currently on our adoption journey and decided to try something a little different by writing our future baby this love song!" the couple explained in the video's description.

The clip is creating a stir all over the internet, especially with Meghan Trainor herself. In a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest last week, Trainor said the "Dear Future Husband" parody was "the cutest thing ever" and that she just had to share it with her fans on Twitter.

In light of their recent internet fame, Morales and Famoso have set up a Facebook page to chronicle their adoption story and to help spread the word that they are still hopeful that one day they will become parents.

"We have always dreamed of becoming fathers, and hopefully this video will help make that dream come true by connecting us to our future birthmother," the couple wrote on YouTube.
