I found the Commentary by James Kirchick at Advocate.com dated February 5, 2008 to be not so much about Matt Foreman as about the Task Force. Having known and worked with/for the Task Force and Mr. Foreman as outside legal counsel for a number of years, I must stand up and say that Mr. Foreman has always been extraordinarily skillful and aware of keeping the best interests of the Task Force as his central focus, and to suggest otherwise is simply wrong. Whether deciding on litigation strategy or even which papers to be quoted in, he always showed the utmost appreciation of the job at hand. In my view, he is the consummate advocate for our community, and should be thanked, not derided, for his contributions.
