I was surprised to see Advocate endorsing Chemistry.com in the latest print issue. Sure, they advertise for gay clients, but they don't deliver on their promises at all. Their "matching" is really just connecting you with any person in your general area -within a hundred miles or so. Every gay man I talked to has had the same experience. Out of over a hundred "matches" I didn't find a single person with whom I had even a superficial connection. I'm a strict vegetarian and member of PETA -and half the guys they "matched" me with had hunting and fishing as their favorite pass time. I'm a husky, hairy white guy, and they matched me with men who said they were only interested in smooth Asian boyz. Worst of all, three times they matched me with a woman! When I complained, they ignored me. No reply whatsoever. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau the company denied several times that I was even a customer -This in spite of me sending copies of receipts. Chemistry.com is no friend of the gay community. They simply want to make a buck off of us.
