Cars Are Not Green

Regarding your "Green Issue," I was shocked to find so many car advertisements disguised as articles. You failed to mention what able-bodied people living in metro areas can do to help stop global warming: ride a bicycle and/or use public transportation. Our environment is in such a state that radical change is necessary to stop or reverse the damage already done. The changes we need to make in our personal lives require actual sacrifices of luxuries. Unfortunately, buying hybrid cars, participating in symbolic light-out weekends, and stocking up on eco-friendly housewares just isn't enough.
