Section 2 - Letter Details

Letter Subject:

Cheyenne Jackson

Letter Title (Pull Quote):

"Cheyenne Jackson claims it was all his publicist's fault that he was perceived to be going back in the closet. I'm sorry if I disagree."

Letter Body:

Cheyenne Jackson claims it was all his publicist's fault that he was perceived to be going back in the closet. I'm sorry if I disagree, but when Mr. Jackson was interviewed for the film United 93 he said, "If my wife or child was on that plane..." Funny, when I think of a loved one I automatically think of my boyfriend, not a mythical wife. Mr. Jackson, your publicist did not say that...you did. Now that your movie career has stalled you are back to Broadway, it is good business to start asking the gays to come see your show since we are a large audience segment. I'm happy to support you as an openly gay actor, but please Mr. Jackson, don't live under the illusion that we are all stupid. We did not believe that Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized for "exhaustion" or that Winonna Ryder was simply borrowing that scarf, and your backtracking sounds a bit similar.
