John and others think it's "not cool" to be associated with conservatives, Palin writes on her blog.

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and failed vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is outraged at the musicians who have refused to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration, denouncing them as "sissies" in a blog post.

"Isn't it amazing how 'not cool' it is to be conservative in the public eye?" Bristol Palin, whose blog is hosted by Patheos, wrote in a Wednesday post. "Either Hollywood is that far off -- or we have so many sissies we have in the spot light too scared to stand for what they believe in!"

Leading her list of "sissies" is gay superstar Elton John. John recently told The Guardian he had had positive personal interactions with Trump, but he did not want to have anything to do with a U.S. election. (John, by the way, has performed for conservatives, having played at Rush Limbaugh's wedding.) Palin lampooned John's suggestion that Trump ask country stars to perform, saying, "He stole all their rhinestone outfits."

Also listed by Palin are Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, the Chainsmokers, Garth Brooks, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Aretha Franklin, David Foster, and Kiss. Most were actually asked to perform, although the Chainsmokers simply joked about it. She ended the article by lauding Jackie Evancho, the America's Got Talent runner-up who will perform. "These A-listers declining the invitation has opened up a chance for someone who really needs it," Palin wrote. (Evancho appears to be more inclusion-minded than many Trump supporters, as she has spoken out about the bullying endured by her transgender sister.)

Palin asserted that most of the celebs she critiques would be happy to perform for Trump if he were simply a businessman and not the incoming Republican president. At the end of the article, though, she dialed back her criticism a bit, saying, "This is what's great about America; You're allowed to say no." Still, to her, they're "sissies."
