A Fox News Radio affiliate in Reno, Nev., cancelled Sean Savoy's year-old program, House of Savoy, after the ordained minister conducted a single interview with an LGBT advocate, reports the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. The 30-minute interview with Dallas-based advocate William Kolb covered marriage equality, the Chick-fil-A controversy, and several other LGBT-related topics.

After the episode aired on KKFT 99.1 FM August 12, Savoy was informed that the affiliate's owner, Jerry Evans, had ordered House of Savoy canceled in its entirety, specifically because of the interview with Kolb.

"To think that I could be removed for having a conversation about the LGBT community in America baffles me," Savoy told GLAAD. "I am shocked I could be censored in this manner, especially when there has been no prior complaint of the show's content."

Savoy is a writer, editor, public speaker and "spiritual educator" who came out as gay following the show's cancellation.

House of Savoy focused on public affairs and had been on the air and produced by Nevada Matters Media Inc. since last September.
