The second anniversary of Pride in St. Charles, Mo., opened on a somber note Saturday with a ceremonial bell struck 49 times for the victims in Orlando. Missourians are resilient, though, and insisted on having a colorful, joyful day. The day included two weddings, a balloon brigade raising money for Pets Are Wonderful Support, and a festival at a new location, 370 Lakeside Park. Thanks to the folks at Vital Voice magazine for covering the event.
