The Cult of Green Consumption

I'll be the first to admit, I wasn't thrilled when I opened up my mailbox the other day and found yet another magazine cover touting the whole "The Green Issue" fad that seems to be going around these days. However, after reading through it like the curious intellectual that I am, I wanted to applaud Fred Bernstein for his article, "The Cult of Green Consumption." This is the first and only article that I've come across that addresses the differences between what it means to genuinely care about improving the environment and simply buy into a trend that only ends up defeating its original purpose. Thank you for calling that to the world's attention.
