The Emmy-nominated docuseries returns to Viceland on September 7. This time around, Ellen Page and her best friend, Ian Daniel, will take viewers to India, Ukraine, and Georgia.

The duo premiered a special Orlando episode of Gaycation Wednesday. Page and Daniel traveled to Orlando only days after the horrific shooting that left 49 people dead and 53 others injured. They met with a Pulse survivor, families of the victims, activists, and more.

Last season, Gaycation traveled to Japan, Brazil, Jamaica, and made several stops throughout the United States. Page and Texas Senator Ted Cruz had a famous confrontation during the show at a campaign stop in Iowa. The senator famously told Page that he believed in religious freedom, which means that religious people should be allowed to refuse service to LGBT people on the basis of religious beliefs.

"What we're seeing right now, we're seeing Bible-believing Christians being persecuted for living according to their faith," Cruz told Page, after she asked him a question about LGBT people getting fired because of their sexuality or their gender identity.

Season two premieres September 7 via Vice magazine's TV channel, Viceland. Watch the trailer below.
