A gay man in London began his new year by intervening in a verbal assault against a drag queen on the city's subway system known as the Tube, reports Towleroad.

Ryan Mahon posted video of the confrontation to his Facebook page Friday morning, along with a description of the incident, which he says occurred around 5 a.m. on New Year's Day. At press time, the video has more than 76,000 views.

"I witnessed an absolute idiot shouting abuse at a drag queen on the tube," writes Mahon of his trip home after "an amazing night celebrating New Years with great people." "I then made the heinous crime of sticking up for her and this video shows what happened."

"That's immoral," shouts the antigay troll repeatedly, amid a litany of curse words and graphic descriptions of gay sex. He also warns the drag queen that, if there weren't so many cameras around, "you'd have no jaw."

"It takes 10 times more balls to go out, as a man, in tights and a fucking wig, than [in masculine attire]," Mahon fires back.
