Miami City Ballet
performs in L.A., June 30–July 2

The Miami City Ballet will perform at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles June 30-July 2. The 47 dancers who make up the company are directed by Edward Villella. The performances will be the final engagement of the 2005-2006 dance season at the Los Angeles Music Center.

Program A, performed July 2 at 2 p.m., will feature Dances at a Gathering, choreographed by Jerome Robbins, and Western Symphony, choreographed by George Balanchine. Program B includes Fancy Free, choreographed by Jerome Robbins, Nine Sinatra Songs, choreographed by Twyla Tharp, and Stravinsky Violin Concerto, choreographed by George Balanchine. Program B will be performed June 30 and July 1 at 7:30 p.m.
