AIDS Healthcare Foundation to head global rally August 13 in Toronto

The Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation will head a global march and rally just prior to the opening ceremonies of the 16th International AIDS Conference in Toronto in August. The event, titled "AIDS Treatment Now: Time to Deliver," will be held at 4 p.m. August 13 in Toronto's Grange Park. Speakers will include AHF president Michael Weinstein, Jane Aronson of Worldwide Orphans Foundation, and several HIV-positive people from countries around the world. March and rally organizers expect thousands of participants. The event is supported by the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, Women's March Toronto, Africare, Uganda Cares, Indian Network of Positive People, Cambodian People Living With HIV/AIDS Network, and Asian Harm Reduction Network. The International AIDS Conference will be held August 13-18 in Toronto.
