You like it scary and ironic? Laurie Lipton says she stays sane by creating her gigantic and unfathomably detailed drawings. It might be working because she has a happy twinkle in her eye, like a mischievous sprite. Come see her new work at Los Angeles's Ace Gallery, 5514 Wilshire Blvd. There will be a special preview and you can meet the artist Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m.
