When Pascual Rodríguez discovered the art of Harry Bush, things were never the same. Read more below.
Twenty-seven-year-old Pascual Rodriguez lives in a small village in Alicante, Spain. He has a little studio here where he works.
"I started painting at my first year at Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (Facultad BBAA San Carlos) but I used to draw since I was a child. I came in contact with Harry Bush artwork during my first and second year in Valencia. Those two first years we were studying life drawing and human anatomy. We used to draw from classic sculptures and nude models, but poses and compositions seemed so boring to me and I couldn't keep myself focused. One day, I was having fun with my computer (you know what I mean) and I found a Harry Bush drawing.
His drawings caught my attention from the first moment and I thought that it could be nice learning human anatomy drawing sexy boys. I learned a lot :). This year I released "FAG" which represents beyond a doubt, that phase of my life.
I work on oil paintings and drawings now. I paint everything I like -- boys and flowers, or objects. However, I'm very focused on the male body and soft eroticism. One could say that it is a constant resource in my work. I like food, ufology, esoterism, astrology, video games, pc modding, driving my car, and walking my dog."
Find more of Pascual here, and get his book, it's outrageously fun. Follow him on Facebook and Instagram.
