There are few things more American than square dancing in the fall. Just something about it reminds us of hay bales, apple pies, and Thanksgiving (maybe because around this time of year in fourth grade, we had to awkwardly dance the Virginia Reel in gym class). But a bunch of LGBT square dancing groups come together every year for a good old-fashioned barn stomp, and it's better than anything we did in grade school.
