In a tweet that has since been deleted, a fan reached out to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling on Twitter earlier today to ask her why she made Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore a gay character, reports U.K. newspaper The Independent.
"Thank you so much for writing Harry Potter. I wonder why you said that Dumbledore is a gay because I can't see him in that way," wrote Ana Kocovic.
Rowling aptly responded with this simple tweet:
Kocovic then graciously responded to Rowling's answer, thanking the author once more and calling her an "inspiration."
Rowling is no stranger to interacting with fans on Twitter. She responded similarly last year when a fan reached out to her asking whether or not there are LGBT students on the "modern age" Hogwarts campus. Rowling famously replied with this meme:
