WATCH: Kevin Bacon Calls for More Male Nudity on the Screen

Kevin Bacon says it's time to break the zippers, drop trou, and be completely naked without any self-censorship by Hollywood. In a short video produced by Watercooler, a branch of Mashable that deals with viral trends on the Internet, Bacon talks about seeing his nude scenes consistently cut from films.

Even there's a lot of gratuitous female nudity on film and television, there isn't much for males. Bacon notes the cancellation of his television drama The Following after two seasons in which his nether regions didn't get screen time. Bacon seeks to change the situation with a social media campaign using the hashtag #FreeTheBacon. Bacon, of course, is a slang term for the male genitalia.
