Amazon has unveiled an action-packed trailer to preview the second season of its award-winning hit series Transparent.

Among the revelations in the two minutes-plus clip posted on Amazon's website and uploaded to YouTube are details that specifically deal with the gender transition of central character Maura, played by Emmy winner Jeffrey Tambor, when a doctor asks her, Do you want breasts? Do you want surgery?

As shown in a preview released earlier this month, at least one episode will revolve around a wedding, and in this clip Maura endures not only being misgendered but also being rejected by someone she knows.

And there is much conflict and drama, as in season 1, as always played for laughs as well as poignancy.
