Hug It Out
This global event was created in 1986 to encourage family and friends to celebrate the positive experience of hugging. Creator Kevin Zaborney chose January 21 as it fell between Christmas, New Year's, and Valentine's Day, a time when he found people are generally in low spirits. So if you are not sure who and how to hug, we have provided some inspirational photos and some pics of historic hugs to get you in the mood.
