Read about the muse Terpsichore below.
There is no getting around how tough a week it's been. So when it's finally time to go home after work, we like to stop at one of the fashionable cocktail lounges in West Hollywood for a glass of cranberry juice and to contemplate the muse of dance and chorus, Terpsichore. She is one of the nine Greek muses, and her name translates to "delight" and "dance." Wanting to further explore the dance arts, we asked photographer Miguel Angel Reyes if he had any classically inspired dance photos, perhaps from concerts or recitals he had attended. Next thing we knew, well over 300 images of nearly naked bar dancers flooded and spilled out the sides of our inbox. Thanks, Miguel. And thanks as well to the hard working young men who give it their all in their altogether. Look for part 2 of the dance special in December.
