The rock star discussed his coming-out journey and his new music video, which gives love to LGBT Christians.

Nearly a year after coming out to international headlines, Trey Pearson caught up with The Advocate about his journey of family and faith.
The former Everyday Sunday frontman and Christian singer discussed homophobia in the church, as well as the inclusive message of his new music video, "Silver Horizon."
"I really wanted the video to be something positive that encoruages continual love and openness and acceptance of gay people, especially in the church," Pearson said.
To those who would use the Bible to discriminate, Pearson has a message: "Love your neighbor as yourself, and to love God with everything you have."
