The queer podcast LGBTQ&A is joining The Advocate's network. The podcast combines historical activism with host Jeffrey Masters's commitment to answering the questions of today.
Joining the magazine, which was founded in 1967, two years before the Stonewall riots, is especially meaningful to Masters.
"I distinctly remember buying my first copy of The Advocate," he says. "I was still living in the South, and only when I was home and alone did I finally feel comfortable enough to take it out and read it. [It was] first published as a newsletter over 50 years ago, [and] I've always been drawn to The Advocate and its place in our history, and I couldn't be more excited to partner with them on my podcast, LGBTQ&A."
Some of the guests on the podcast include Star Trek: Discovery star Wilson Cruz, drag idol Trixie Mattel, and journalist Ira Madison III.
