Over the weekend, out actor Molly Bernard wed her girlfriend, attorney Hannah Lieberman, following a two-year engagement.
The Milkwaterstar shared the announcement on Instagram with a photo of the two of them walking down a staircase covered with sunflowers. "WIVES! Perfect day, perfect party. Perfect photo," wrote Bernard in the caption. "WHAT A SURREAL JOY TO BE MARRIED TO MY TREASURE!"
The two were married at The Boathouse in Brooklyn, New York, where Bernard wore a white dress made by New York-based designer Wray, while Lieberman opted for a custom suit by Bindle & Keep.
The two first announced their engagement in January 2020, again on Instagram. At the time, Bernard shared a photo of herself and Liberman cuddling up with their pup, Henry. "We said YES!" she wrote.
Bernard burst onto the screen with her roles as young Shelly on Transparent and as the pansexual PR rep on the rise, Lauren Heller, on Younger, crediting the latter role as helping her realize her own sexual identity. "I don't identify as straight," Bernard revealed to ET in 2017. "Her confidence has helped me a lot. It helped me in a few different ways: Her confidence helped me with my own kind of nervous and self struggles, but she's also helped me with my sexual identity."
Bernard went on to explain that while she predominantly dated men, that wasn't the full story for her. "It would be perfectly possible and wonderful to have a [relationship with a] woman or trans person...I've always felt this way, but now it's part of the conversation, we can talk about it. There's language for it."
Here's to the couple's happily ever after.
