Leslie Jordan was born in Memphis, Tenn., April 29, 1955. The character actor was known for his quick wit and Southern drawl. His popularity was timeless, as he appealed to longtime sitcom fans and the TikTok generation alike. Jordan won an Emmy for his portrayal of Beverley Leslie in the iconic sitcom Will & Grace.
Jordan died Monday at the age of 67.
