Zac Posen and Harrison Ball are ready to start their next chapter together. The couple announced their engagement on social media yesterday, August 8th.

In an Instagram post captioned, "Engaged 8.8.22," the fashion designer tagged his fiance and, in a slideshow of pictures, he shared some of their memories leading up to the grand moment. Ponser's post was showered with love from his fans and peers.

Heidi Klum, his former "Project Runway" colleague, commented with hearts, writing, "OMG I am soooo Happy for you two. CONGRATULATIONS."

Along with Klum, Reese Witherspoon, and Nina Dobrev also congratulated the couple.

Harrison Ball had a similar post on his Instagram that featured the couple standing in front of two giant arrows with the caption: "GETTING HITCHED - CUPIDS ARROW(S)."

The renowned fashion designer known for red carpet looks for Katie Holmes, Rihanna, and Sarah Jessica Parker, has worked with the New York City Ballet, the company Harrison is a principal dancer for. Though the exact date the couple started dating is not confirmed, they went public with their relationship with a post on Ball's Instagram in April 2021. A few months later, in September 2021, the couple shared a nude photo on Posen's Instagram in honor of the premiere of a ballet his significant other starred in.

Coincidentally, weddings have recently been a focal point in Posen's career. Released this past June, Posen collaborated with Blue Nile in a new line of inclusive wedding jewelry. He said, in an interview with Brides, "With so many of us celebrating unity and love this month, it felt like the right time to release an inclusive line of engagement rings and wedding bands--a collection that was purposefully designed to represent love, regardless of gender."

Posen continued that his line was inspired by, "unique and ageless designs that also celebrate love, unity, and marriage for all."

He was also behind the looks for both Ellen Degeneres and Portia di Rossi on their wedding day and has designed wedding dress collections with White One Bridal and David's Bridal.
