Photographer Mauricio A. Rodriguez appropriated images from social media and altered them to make them abstract and anonymous -- like the version of ourslves projected on hookup apps.

The series is based on cyber voyeurism and the redefinition of portraiture and photography, including the "selfie." Some of the images here have been collected over the last four years from sites such as Scruff, Grindr, Tumblr, etc.

"We are creating these new personalities with almost no fear of full exposure, which adds a layer to my concept of multiple exposure," Rodriguez says.

The images are intended for un upcoming book project, RAM IMAGERY Vol. 1, Unlocked, planned for release in the next six months.
