Actor-musician Jared Leto tells an interviewer, "I'm gay...as a goose," but it's still not certain whether or not he's pulling our leg.
Is Jared Leto now out of the closet, or was the pretty-boy actor just kidding? Only you can judge. The blogosphere is buzzing over an online interview the actor gave last week to AOL Music, in which he said, "I'll give you an exclusive--I'm gay." When asked if he was serious, the 34-year-old star added, "As a goose." Sounds like a joke, but it's not the first time Leto has hinted around in that vein. In 2004, he told Out magazine, "I know I'm gay. I must be gay." Leto played Alexander the Great's lover in the Oliver Stone biopic Alexander, but there were no sex scenes between Leto and Colin Farrell. Leto said, "If there had been, it would be the best man-on-man sex you've ever seen."
For what it's worth, Leto is currently promoting the latest album from his band 30 Seconds to Mars--which happens to be titled A Beautiful Lie. Calls to Leto's publicist to confirm or deny were not returned by press time. (Sirius OutQ News, with additional reporting by The Advocate)
