Will Young in
talks to star in London production of Wicked

Will Young, the gay winner of the British talent show Pop Idol's first season, is reportedly in talks to join the production of Wicked in London's West End. He made his acting debut in the 2005 film Mrs. Henderson Presents.

He is expected to essay the male lead role of Flyero after current actor Adam Garcia's contract expires.

"Will was treated like a king," a source told the British newspaper The Sun. "Lucy Liu had been in to watch the show a couple of nights before and didn't receive the same pampering. Will had the best seats and was put in the VIP room, something which isn't the norm for celebrities. They're really trying to woo him, and he seems keen to get started with rehearsals."
