Tori Spelling
will star in Kiss the Bride, a romantic comedy
with a gay twist, Variety reports. The film is
about a gay man who tries to stop his former lover
from marrying a woman, played by Spelling.
Spelling is no
stranger to gay romantic comedies, appearing in 1999's
Trick, in which she played the best friend
of a gay man trying to find a place to hook up with a go-go
dancer one night in New York. Variety reports
that work on Kiss the Bride is scheduled to
begin later this month in Los Angeles.
In the meantime,
Spelling, who was last seen in VH1's So NoTORIous,
will be doing a guest spot on the CW's
Smallville. (The Advocate)
