The success of gay director Bryan Singer's Superman Returns has prompted Warner Bros. to give the go-ahead to a sequel. The first film has earned about $200 million domestically thus far and nearly $390 million worldwide. Details about the plot and characters of the sequel were unavailable, though most of the same team behind the first film is expected to return.

Superman Returns will be released on DVD in both single-disc and two-disc special edition versions on November 28. (The Advocate)
