On the eve of Garbus Kroupa Entertainment's one-year anniversary, the production company has announced three gay-themed films in the works.

Save Me, starring Judith Light, Chad Allen, and Robert Gant, is a drama which chronicles the life of a young gay man who flees his life of drugs and sex to return home to find himself. His arrival at a Christian ministry makes him confront the truth of his heart and spirit. The film has recently wrapped production.

Dream Boy, which is based on Jim Grimsley's award-winning novel of the same name, follows two young boys who experience their first love together in the rural South. The film won Panavision's Filmmaker Program Award.

The company has started production on their latest film, which is described as a high-intensity action movie. Brooklyn to Manhattan is said to take place primarily in the New York City underground culture. (The Advocate)
