hires openly gay PR expert

Isaiah Washington has hired new representation. Howard Bragman and his successful PR company, Fifteen Minutes, will now represent the Grey's Anatomy star. Bragman, who is openly gay, assisted in the launch of gay former NBA player John Amaechi's book, Man in the Middle, reports TMZ.com. Bragman's office confirmed in a statement to TMZ.com that Washington has signed on with the firm: "Our work with Isaiah is about his future--not the past. There is an important dialogue in our society about diversity that needs to happen, and Isaiah is uniquely positioned to be the catalyst for this." (The Advocate)
