Dawn Budge is coming back!

Rosie O'Donnell's popular heterosexual character will be returning to F/X drama Nip/Tuck, announced show creator Ryan Murphy at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

"Rosie is coming back in episode four--and for several episodes this year," the openly gay Murphy said. "The character was so instantly popular. We've spoken about [a spin-off]; it's an ongoing discussion."

The show, which will move the action from Miami to Los Angeles when the fifth season kicks off in November, will also introduce an acupuncturist character to be played by Portia DeRossi. And Roma Maffia, Nip/Tuck's beleaguered lesbian character, might see her luck change.

"I think she might find love...or at least have sex," Maffia said of her character, Liz Cruz.

Murphy, along with series stars Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh, discussed last year's story line that featured Walsh's character, an insecure plastic surgeon, questioning his sexuality.

"They had a lot of fun playing those scenes," Murphy said. "I've always said the show is a heterosexual love story between two men."
