One Night Only: Dorothy in Hi-Def!

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, a special high-definition presentation of the iconic film will be screened for audiences in theaters nationwide on September 23.

The entirely remastered presentation marks the first time the Oscar-winning film will be shown in hi-def, according to presenters NCM Fathom, Warner Home Video, and Turner Classic Movies. Screenings in 440 movie theaters across the country will include a special introduction by classic film historian and TCM host Robert Osborne, followed by a piece about the making of The Wizard of Oz, complete with archival interviews and rare, behind-the-scenes footage.
